'Towers of London'
Ernst & Young invited us to bring a group of children to their building just south of Tower Bridge. The children sat on the 9th floor and drew and painted the spectacular view of The Tower of London and/or Tower Bridge. This was a great experience for everyone involved and the paintings are great!
Our good friends at Alan Baxter & Associates in Farringdon invited us to hold our exhibition in their gallery. The exhibtion combined the children's paintings with a selection of Richard's own work (see Richard's site) It was the first time that the children had exhibited with Richard and it was a wonderful experience.

'The Golden Coach'
In spring 2006 incoming Lord Mayor of London, Alderman and Sheriff John Stuttard, commissioned Arts For All to paint the Lord Mayor's Golden Coach as part of the celebrations of its 250th anniversary.
We ran a competition which many of the children who attend our clubs took part in. The paintings were judged by John and others, including Pageant Master Dominic Reid, at The Old Bailey on July 10th.
The winning entry is a painting by 15-year-old Ilias Muhuddin. Click here to see Ilias's winning painting. All the entries were exhibited in autumn 2006.

'Oranges and Lemons'

'A Child's View of London in Painting and Poetry'
In summer 2004 we ran a week-long course, which was attended by nine children. We took them on a day trip to the London Eye and Aquarium, and over the next four days they each completed a small and a large painting on canvas, and wrote a poem about their feelings for their home city. This work was exhibited at St Mary-le-Bow in the City, and has now been turned into a book by The Times newspaper (see details here). Each of the children sold at least one of their paintings during the exhibition.
